Meet the artists

Hi, I'm Robyn! I opened up Honey Comb Studio in February of 2022 with a mission to revolutionize and disrupt the salon experience. To me, this means exclusively using low toxic & vegan color, sustainable, plastic-free products, removing gender from services and offering gratuity free pricing.  
I've been in the field 17 years, starting in high school at a vocational center. My first love was styling, then it quickly evolved into color theory, and from there it grew into an all encompassing admiration for self expression to it's core. I love major transformations and helping people find what works with their lifestyle. My favorite looks range from vintage and classic to modern and punk. I've had the pleasure of being an educator, working behind the scenes in NYFW, representing Cult + King as a viceroy, and chasing classes from dozens of influential artists who continue to inspire and challenge me.
Through all of my years, one thing is certain - it's not "just hair."
